From now forward, we’ll post our latest photo mysteries to our website, but you can still discuss them on Facebook, or use the Facebook commenting on the bottom of this post.  As with all of our photo mysteries, please help us identify these folks.

Below are two photographs recently acquired as part of a found album with a few loose images.  The first photo is a basketball team of teens and dates to the early to mid-1920s. So. Side Y is hand printed on the basketball.  On the verso, there are names in cursive, with a few cut-off or obstructed by glue and black album paper.

The second photograph is loose and mounted on a card.  The background suggests this is also the gymnasium at a YMCA on the south side.  Names are on the verso below.

*The Industrial YMCA on the south side of the City was built in 1929, and these images seem to predate that building.  Although the photographs in this album mostly appear to be local, connecting these names to area residents would help to identify this location.  “Y” could also mean something other than YMCA.
